Arrived in London on 28 May 1909 aboard the Hitachi Maru of the Nippon Yusen Kaisha Line, probably embarking at Penang or Colombo. He was travelling with his father RLH O'Hara and mother Jane O'Hara (need Bazely) and the Cotter family. (see BT26/389/35)
On 28 April 1910 he returned to Burma from Liverpool on the Martaban of the P Henderson & Co Line
